About Me
Hi there, and welcome! My name is Carrie, and I’m the heart and hands behind Herbal Roots with Carrie.
My journey into holistic health began in 2012 when I became a certified WholyFit fitness instructor - it was during this time that I truly came to appreciate the deep connection between the mind, body, and spirit. As my passion grew, I went on to earn my Diamond certfication and became a Mentor Trainer, helping guide and support new instructors as they stepped into their own paths.
In early 2020, I felt called to deepen my understanding of natural health and began my herbal studies with The Herbal Academy. Recognizing the growing need for holistic care—and feeling a strong desire to help others on a deeper level—I continued my education at Wild Rose College, working toward becoming a clinical herbalist. While I’m nearing the completion of my formal studies, I know that learning never truly ends, and I already have plans to continue expanding my knowledge with further advanced studies.
As a Christian herbalist, I approach health through a faith-based lens, believing that true wellness is about more than just the physical body—it’s also about emotional and spiritual well-being. When one area is out of balance, everything else is affected. In addition to standard consultations, I offer faith-based sessions that bring together all aspects of wellness, creating a truly holistic approach to healing.
While I work with clients with a variety of concerns, I have a special passion for supporting pain, immune dysregulation, auto-immunity, nervous system challenges, and women’s health. More than anything, I love empowering and educating others, walking alongside them on their journey toward vibrant health and well-being.
When I’m not working with clients or immersed in my studies, I’m often crafting herbal remedies, refining clinical protocols, or exploring ways to share the beauty and power of herbalism with my community. My work is fueled by a passion for lifelong learning and a deep belief in the transformative power of phytotherapy.
